Though Carter parted ways with his girlfriend Madison Parker, she made it clear that his sexuality wasn’t the issue. “My split with Aaron has nothing to do with him being bisexual. Our parting of ways is something that has been coming for some time and it’s the best thing for us both,” she told E! News.

The popularity of Game of Thrones and the Stark dire wolves has spurned an increase in the popularity of Husky breeds of dogs. The unforeseen side effect has been an increase of Huskies in local shelters. This phenomenon, known as the “Dalmatian Effect” after a similar surge after the film 101 Dalmatians, has lead to pleas from local shelters.
Now, even a star of the popular show has lent his voice to the cause.
Actor Peter Dinklage has partnered with PETA to make a strong statement against the craze and subsequent surge at shelters.
“Please, to all of Game of Thrones‘ many wonderful fans, we understand that due to the direwolves’ huge popularity, many folks are going out and buying huskies,” Dinklage said in a statement released by PETA. “Not only does this hurt all the deserving homeless dogs waiting for a chance at a good home in shelters, but shelters are also reporting that many of these huskies are being abandoned—as often happens when dogs are bought on impulse, without understanding their needs. Please, please, if you’re going to bring a dog into your family, make sure that you’re prepared for such a tremendous responsibility and remember to always, ALWAYS, adopt from a shelter.”
According to PETA, similar spikes in specific breeds were attributed to Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Legally Blonde, and Men in Black in addition to 101 Dalmatians and Game of Thrones.

The 22 families devastated by the terrorist bombing attack at Manchester Arena in England following an Ariana Grande concert earlier this year are each set to receive $324,000 from the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.
The fund, which was established after the horrific incident at Grande’s show on May 22, has raised more than $23 million. A portion of the money was generated through the singer’s One Love Manchester concert which featured such acts as Liam Gallagher, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus. Grande also donated the proceeds from a special re-release of her song “One Last Time” along with a cover of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”
“The payments will ensure the families benefit from the phenomenal outpouring of public support following the attack,” the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund explained in a press release (via Billboard).
“The city and the world responded with such extreme kindness, generosity and solidarity in the aftermath of the Manchester Arena attack,” explained Councillor Sue Murphy, the fund’s chair of trustees. “We will now spend some time looking at how we will distribute the rest of the funds. This will be a complex and sensitive process as we will need to assess the long-term impacts of the attack. We will issue an update as soon as we know more.”
NEW YORK (RADIO ALICE) – While promoting his new film Logan Lucky on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, actor Daniel Craig confirmed a long-standing rumor that he did in fact play the Stormtrooper guarding Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Colbert pulled out a photo of scene from the movie where Daisy Ridley’s restrained character is with a Stormtrooper. Colbert then says “I’d like to know how this came about.”
“I slept with J.J. Abrams,” Craig jokes.
Then Craig admitted that at the time, both Star Wars and James Bond was filming at Pinewood Studios in England. Where he and his good friend, Ben Dixon, a liaison on set would usually talk.

During one conversation, Craig asked how things were for Dixon, relating to working on Star Wars. “Fantastic, wonderful, J.J.’s amazing! It’s going to be great.” Dixon replied.
Craig immediately asked “Could I be in it?”
Dixon went on to talk to Abrams about Craig’s request and came back with an offer. “We’re shooting a Stormtrooper scene, this weekend.” Dixon explained. “Do you want to do it?” and the rest became fanboy history.
Logan Lucky hits theaters this Friday, August 18th.
